Costa Del Mar Sunglasses in Pendleton, SC
Born on the water, the performance sunglass for life outdoors.

A house built on discipline, not trend.

Costa Del Mar was established in 1983 in Daytona Beach by people who wanted a sunglass that could survive the salt, sun, and glare of a full day offshore. Every frame and lens since has been built to that original brief.
Four decades on, Costa Del Mar is a familiar name in performance polarized eyewear. The frames hold their grip, and the lenses are tuned for the way light behaves on open water.
“See what’s out there. The water rewards clarity, and so do the days spent living on it.”
Detail you can feel before you can see.
580 Polarized Lens
The 580G glass and 580P polycarbonate lenses filter harsh yellow light, sharpening reds, greens, and blues for true water side color.
Frames Built to Grip
Rubber temple pads and nose grips are integrated into the frame so it stays put through sweat, spray, and long boat days.
Warranty Support
Costa Del Mar offers its own warranty coverage on the collection. We are happy to walk you through the current terms in the boutique.

- Driving in Upstate sun, and anyone who spends real hours outdoors for work.
- Anyone building a proper outdoor kit rather than buying a fashion sunglass for the boat.

Fit notes
Performance frames need to be snug without pinching, because a sunglass that slides in the heat is a sunglass you take off. We fit for coverage first, checking that light is not spilling in above the lens or at the temple, then adjust the rubber contact points. If you sweat through a day outdoors, tell us, because that changes which silhouette we recommend.
Lens notes
Costa Del Mar lenses can be made to prescription in many of their silhouettes, and we will tell you which ones suit your script. Glass is the clearest and the heaviest, polycarbonate is lighter and more impact resistant, and the tint you choose should follow the water and light you are actually in. Costa Del Mar offers its own warranty coverage on the collection, and we will walk you through the current terms in the boutique.
