Prescription Sunglasses in Pendleton, SC

Upstate summers are long and the glare off Hartwell is unforgiving. We build prescription sunglasses from the same designer frames on our shelves, cut with polarized or gradient lenses in the exact strength you wear every day.

Made From the Frame You Actually Want

Almost any frame in the boutique can be glazed as a sunglass. That means your prescription sunwear can be Persol, Oliver Peoples, Costa Del Mar or Ray-Ban rather than whatever happened to come in a stock tint. We measure the frame and your pupils individually so the optical center lands where it should.

Polarized, Gradient or Photochromic

Polarized lenses cut reflected glare off water and pavement, which is why anglers and drivers ask for them by name. Gradient tints stay lighter at the bottom so you can read a dash or a menu. Photochromic lenses darken outdoors and clear indoors when you would rather carry one pair.

Tints Chosen for How You Use Them

Copper and amber lift contrast on the water and on the golf course. Gray keeps colors true for long highway drives. Green sits comfortably between the two. We talk through where the glasses will live before we pick a tint.

Included With Every Pair

  • Individual pupil and frame measurements
  • Polarized, gradient, mirrored and photochromic options
  • Scratch resistant and backside anti reflective coatings
  • Progressive and bifocal sun lenses
  • Complimentary adjustments for the life of the frame

Common Questions

Can you put my prescription in any sunglass frame?

Most designer frames can be glazed to prescription. Deeply curved wrap styles have limits on strong prescriptions, and we will tell you honestly before you buy rather than after.

Are polarized lenses worth it?

If you drive, fish, boat or spend time around water and open pavement, yes. Polarization removes reflected glare rather than simply dimming the scene, which most people notice immediately.

How long do prescription sunglasses take?

Most orders are ready in about one to two weeks depending on the lens design. We call you the moment they arrive and fit them in person.
